Role Responsibilities

As the primary Finance leader at the facility, the Finance Business Partner plays a critical role in the financial planning, analysis, controls and execution of the operations
•    Is the business partner for the General Manager and leadership team, Supply Chain FP&A and Controlling, Commercial Finance Team.
•    Lead & develop the plant finance and support local controlling team
•    Develop Cost of Goods Sold financial plans in conjunction with the Supply Chain FP&A team 
•    Scope: $30MM in annual COGS, $250MM in annual inventory
•    Deliver Weekly / Monthly performance reporting, variance analysis and forecasting (including risks and opportunities)
•    Monthly business review presentations with executive leadership
•    Capital planning and business case development
•    Strategic Planning & special projects
•    Identify, highlight areas of waste within the cost structure, drive / support improvement actions
•    Manage direct reports and support their development plans
•    Active participation in the local S&OP cycle to ensure decisions related to the site include finance inputs.
•    Develop KPI’s to show how the business is performing and highlight risk or opportunities
•    Identify, highlight areas of waste within the cost structure, drive/support improvement actions

Outcomes/Success Criteria 
•    Is the General Manager of the Operations satisfied with the level of partnership and service levels they and their staff are receiving from the finance team?
•    Are cost of goods sold plans well documented and based on solid, accurate assumptions?
•    Is the KPI and performance reporting accurate, timely and effective to drive the business?
•    Do the finance team members have active development plans, and are they progressing – primarily through support and leadership of the Finance Business partner?

•    Are the accounting activities and internal control processes in place and in adherence with corporate policies?

Qualifications

Education- Finance, Accounting or equivalent degree 
Certifications/Licensure- CPA or MBA preferred 
Years of experience- 10 years’ work experience in Finance / Accounting 
Level of experience- 5+ years of managerial experience  
Industry experience- preferred, not required
Travel % - 5%
