Role Responsibilities
Play a critical role in the development and implementation of the Salesforce Retail Automation (SRA) Tool, in partnership w/ Sales, Market Development & Commercialization (MDC) Teams, Change Management & Vendor partners.
Partner with Change Management team on implementation of Business Transformation action plans.
In partnership with MDC Team, act as the product owner for digital enablement tools, defining product vision, strategy, innovation, and roadmap.
Gather and prioritize product requirements, working closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Monitor and analyze product performance, making data-driven decisions to enhance user experience, drive adoption and realize value.
Work with the North America Commercial Sales stakeholders and Digital & Technology to define and agree on the features and functionality required for expanding and optimizing the planning, execution and insights elements of the Salesforce platforms
Ensure alignment to global IT and Sales initiatives and strategies
Serve as primary point of contact for communicating all aspects of the North America Commercial Salesforce product development on an ongoing basis to all stakeholders on the backlog and sprint achievements, communicating progress
Develop, prioritize and ultimately own the delivery of the NA Salesforce feature map by working with cross-functional teams and providing a clear description of product features for easy comprehension by the development teams
Document and prioritize the features and functionality into well-defined product requirements user stories, including acceptance test criteria and Epic tagging using an Agile toolset such as Jira and Confluence
Responsible and accountable for ensuring the NA Commercial Salesforce product is developed with best practices while optimizing the end-user experiences
Play Technical subject matter expert (SME) role understating high level working of Salesforce platform, integration patterns, data transformations, workflows, etc. to accelerate decision making on features and functionalities for Salesforce with IT and business teams
Function as an Associate Product Owner for within scrum teams for technical development projects
Attend stand-ups and work with the Project, IT, and Business teams to ensure that any blockers are owned and cleared providing any relevant escalations path for resolution
Assess and report the effectiveness of new features through analytics and reporting, as well as understanding the optimization of efficiency gains from business stakeholders
Support key stakeholders in the NA Market on day-to-day basis, training/adoption and quarterly strategic adjustments
Qualifications
Years of experience: 5-7 years of working as a Technical/Business Analyst, Salesforce Admin or Associate Product Owner within Corporate IT environment
Comfortability with digital/technical language and formal project management processes
Experience in digital product management, including defining product vision, strategy, roadmap and improvements
Strength in both strategic-thought leadership and execution
Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or similar degree
Certifications: Salesforce.com Certified Administrator, Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
Enterprise tools experience: Salesforce.com Sales Cloud, Consumer Goods Cloud and Experience Cloud, CRM Analytics, PowerBI, Aforza, Service Now, Jira
Level of experience: Experienced Salesforce Administrator, Associate Product Owner
Industry experience: Alcohol Beverage, Consumer Product Goods (CPG), Commercial, and Data/Analytic preferable but not required
Project Management and Agile (SCRUM) experience required
Language: Fluent in English
Travel less than 10% (if any)
Salary Range - The salary range for this role, based in Chicago, Illinois is $100k-110k, along with an annual bonus, 401K match, profit sharing, and medical and wellness benefits. The salary range is commensurate with the candidate’s location, experience, and skillset. The range will vary if outside of this location.
