Role Responsibilities

  • Support the Supply Chain team with a focus on safety, performance, and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Control costs by maintaining inventory levels to ensure sufficient production is available to meet sales requirements.  
  • Master Scheduling of Finished Goods production activities and managing changes and updates in a timely manner.  
  • Partner with commercial teams and maintain multiple project tasks to meet production timing to ensure successful launch timing.
  • Create logical and efficient bottling schedules in accordance to the bottling/shipping/processing requirements and limitations and ensure they are entered correctly in SAP.
  • Drive supply chain strategies to reduce lead times and improve operational efficiency.
  • Manage aged inventory and drive reduction strategies.
  • Review order volume for bottled products on a daily basis to ensure orders are met within the established lead time while balancing inventory levels, operational efficiency, and customer service.  
  • Pursue continuous improvement activities for bottling strategy, sequencing and productivity.  
  • Provide input into recipe review discussions and maintain recipes in SAP.  
  • Maintain SAP Set Up/Changeover Matrix.  
  • Align with PLA on Product Lifecycles, New Project Management, Discontinuations, BOM creation and Product Versions.  
  • Collaborate with Materials Team on securing raw material supplies to ensure production schedules are met.  
  • Align with operations team on priorities, training, and labor shifts available.  
  • Maintain working knowledge of domestic and export customers’ packaging requirements.
  • Communicate all special instructions to Bottling and Shipping personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with governmental regulations, including TTB and Customs.  
  • Adhere to and promote environmental health and safety as one of the organization’s business priorities.
  • Promote and adhere to Food Safety, 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or 5 years’ experience in supply chain functions.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP/APO a definite plus.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
  • Strong negotiation and decision-making capabilities.
  • Be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and prioritize duties to meet deadlines daily.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate across functions.
  • HACCP, ISO or Continuous Improvement experience preferred.  
  • APICS certification a plus.
