Join Suntory Global Spirits to lead the activation of our ultra-premium portfolio e. g. House of Suntory (Hibiki, Yamazaki, Hakushu) across Germany’s most prestigious on-trade accounts. This role offers the opportunity to design high-impact, tailored activations and events at luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, and high-end cocktail bars, working closely with sales and global brand teams to elevate brand positioning and drive both value and advocacy in premium channels. You will have significant influence over menu strategies, visibility, and customer experiences that define our luxury presence in-market.

Role Responsibilities

  • Act as Brand Lead for the ultra-premium portfolio e. g. House of Suntory within the On-Trade channel, ensuring alignment with global brand guidelines and local prestige customer needs.
  • Plan and execute high-impact marketing activations and Limited Time Offers (LTOs) tailored to prestige accounts, driving distribution, menu placements, and back-bar visibility.
  • Own the commercial activation roadmap for prestige accounts and department stores (e.g., KaDeWe), serving as the single point of contact and enabler for customer-specific activations.
  • Develop and implement drink and menu strategies and back-bar visibility concepts in collaboration with the Head of Key City & Prestige to enhance brand presence.
  • Coordinate and support tastings and training for trade partners to showcase craftsmanship and heritage and monitor activation implementation at gemba to gather qualitative feedback.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in luxury sales, account management, or trade marketing within the spirits, hospitality, or luxury goods sector.
  • Proven track record designing and delivering tailored activations, events, and training programs for high-profile on-trade customers.
  • Strong commercial planning and budget management skills with demonstrated ability to deliver on ROI.
  • Native-level German and business-fluent English.

 

Other Personal Skills (desirable):

  • Experience working with (ultra) premium brands and Limited Edition launches.
  • Strong networking skills and the ability to build advocacy among key influencers and luxury venues.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and aligning sales, marketing, and commercialization stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid environment and travelling to key accounts as required.
