What makes this a great opportunity?
This role operates at the intersection of eCommerce, data, and finance, where you will be responsible for inputting, tracking, analysing, and reporting on key D2C metrics to drive business performance. You will serve as the link between the D2C team and Finance, ensuring that commercial and marketing decisions are grounded in accurate data and financial insight. This is an opportunity for a data lover to shape how we monitor growth, reconcile results, and optimize our emerging and rapidly growing DTC business for long-term success.
Role Responsibilities
• Own DTC performance reporting: Track, manage, and report on eCommerce KPIs (traffic, conversion, AOV, CAC, retention, etc.) across brand.com sites.
• Financial reconciliation: Support with invoicing and partner with Finance teams on month-end close activities, ensuring alignment between DTC results, revenue recognition, and P&L impact.
• Data analysis & insights: Deliver actionable insights on customer behaviour, sales trends, and campaign performance to influence commercial and marketing strategies.
• Forecasting & planning: Support forecasting of sales, demand, and margin for the DTC channel, providing variance analysis versus plan.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Act as the key connector between DTC, Finance, Supply Chain, and Marketing to ensure a data-driven approach to decision making.
• Data governance: Maintain accurate and consistent data across systems (SAP, Magento, BI tools), ensuring reporting integrity.
• Continuous improvement: Recommend and implement process enhancements to streamline reporting, analytics, and financial tracking.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
• Experience in DTC eCommerce analytics, FP&A, or business/financial analysis within CPG, retail, or consulting.
• Advanced skills in Excel and proficiency with BI/analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Google Analytics, SQL).
• A good understanding of financial KPIs (revenue, margin, contribution profit, ROI) and how they link to eCommerce performance.
• Experience producing reports, dashboards, and forecasts that drive business decisions.
• Excellent communication skills — able to translate complex data into clear insights for both commercial and finance stakeholders.
• Self-starter with strong project management and organizational skills, able to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in premium or luxury goods.
• Background in start-up or scaling environments, where you defined new reporting processes or best practices.
• Familiarity with ERP (SAP) and eCommerce platforms (Magento, Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud).
• Experience working with external partners (e.g., distributors, agencies, or 3rd party logistics).
While relocation, immigration, and/or tax compliance support are not guaranteed, we may offer assistance to successful candidates depending on factors such as role requirements in accordance with company guidelines.
