Mission of Role

This role will work closely with Regional Commercial Marketing Managers, Commercial Marketing - Off Trade Manager, ZSM, Region Heads to pursue the Commercial Marketing agenda of winning in the state in Off trade channel. He/she will be responsible for execution of Commercial Marketing initiatives which are led centrally like BAs, merchandisers, consumer gifting and effective use of the allotted state Commercial Marketing budgets. He /She will work closely with CMM Off trade and RCMM to deliver the Commercial Marketing agenda in line with the agreed yearly priorities and goals. He /She will support the state in the implementation of various initiatives and ensure efficient functioning of automated sales data capturing through IT tools for increasing sales team productivity and maximising returns on investment. Will also be responsible for compliance to Beam Suntory processes and SOPs.

Role Responsibilities

  • Coordinates and facilitates the execution of all the commercial marketing initiatives in the region for the off premise stores
  • Accountable for driving Execution Excellence for the channel inputs, especially for centrally managed initiatives like brand toolkits, consumer gifting, signages, manpower
  • Coordinates transportation, reception, storage and implementation of visibility materials
  • Responsible for tracking centrally of the commercial initiatives: visibility materials, VAP’s, brand advocacy, wall-base execution.
  • Execute and track implementation of the defined outlet standards for the state/zone. Help with the continuous PDCA of the BTL levers
  • Work closely with the CMM Offtrade, CMT head and Region Heads to buld the plans for Must-win accounts delivering Halo accounts, Halo execution, Hakozukuri accounts, Wall Bays etc.
  • Build specific plans for building distribution for key brand to reach the region /state objectives
  • Conduct performance review meetings with Brand Ambassadors and provide performance updates to the region for necessary actions. 
  • Closely monitor the market and competitive landscape to evaluate existing and upcoming opportunities/ challenges and provide hands-on Gemba insights to the stakeholders.
  • Monitor distribution of POSM stock across state as per targets, timeliness and territory requirements.
  • Act as a pivot in the state to ensure alignment & coordination between the on-field requirement of sales team and other HO stakeholders be rolled-out across regions.

Qualifications

Education:

Graduate/MBA

Industry Experience:

6+ years experience in the Channel preferably with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Alcobev/ relevant industries
