Mission of Role 

The Senior Engineer email security is a supportive member of the Global Information Security team who monitors email security platforms, is in charge of email security, and is responsible for ensuring tools, software, and hardware are secured and protected from cyber-threats and are operating efficiently.

Role Responsibilities

  • Serve on a global information security responsible for establishing and maintaining email and integrated cloud email security capabilities within the technology solutions.
  • Manage/Release false-positive spam/phishing emails from management console and troubleshoot email delivery related issues related to email security
  • Deliver Day-to-day email security services as per the defined processes and SLAs, including but not limited to new domain onboarding, health check, blacklist, whitelist, quarantine, policy management, custom SPAM blocks, etc.
  • Continuous monitoring for any virus outbreak, targeted attacks, data leak incidents including Rapid response to any potential incidents by message tracking, mitigation and eradication
  • Support change and problem management as defined by the processes including coordination with internal / external stakeholders
  • Evaluate and update email security policies and procedures as appropriate
  • Provide dashboards, summary, and detailed reports on the efficacy and impact of anti-spam and relevant email security metrics
  • Working experience with security vendors and service providers, evaluating new security solutions and conducting POCs

Qualifications

  • Preferably seven or more years’ experience in email security, integrated, cloud email security and DLP
  • Experience working in a global environment, with geographic disparity preferred.
  • Experience with email security, integrated email security, SPAM, malware, DMARC/DKIM/SPF, DLP, automation and related Security technologies
  • Familiarity with major email platforms like Proofpoint, Checkpoint, O365 is preferred
  • Works calmly under pressure and with agile deadlines.
  • Is highly trustworthy and leads by example.
  • Security (incl. email) certifications preferred.
