Commercial Marketing Executive Gold Costumers
The following position is open in Madrid, Spain.
What makes this a great opportunity?
The Commercial Marketing Executive Gold Wholesalers would lead the category management, the annual and cycle commercial marketing plan and the brand strategy for the Gold Wholesalers, being responsible of the 20 to 25 key Wholesalers and building the best value proposal to win relevance and business in the market in the wholesalers category.
Deep understanding in Gemba Insights in these customers and their markets, and responsible to develop ad hoc PDCA plans to the them. Also, has to provide the knowledge to the sales team.
CME is accountable for Gold Wholesalers Pulse. Specially focus on category, customer collaboration, engagement, sales support and Supply.
A true team player, leads the category vision in this customers. This person is responsible for defining and tracking the Wholesalers evolution and involve the customer relationship through a clear short and long strategy vision.
Role Responsibilities
GROWTH INITIATIVES IN CUSTOMERS
• Leads Gemba insights in this customers and their market and put in place action plans connected to Gemba Insights.
• Becomes the RAM Business partner for Gold Wholesalers, leading the Category, Activation Plans (Distribution, Rotation, assortment, Visibility and Incentives) and cycle meetings
• Builds the Commercial Marketing Plan and the Best value proposal to develop our business with a short and long term vision
• Accountable for this Customers and RGM (volume, distribution, assortment, rotation, purchase frequency, investments, and Customer Gross Profit / contribution…)
• Tracks the customer evolution by cycle with the sales team, in order to maximize success, negotiations and growth vision.
BRAND PLAN
• Contributes to an active and keyway in the definition of the Growth Plan, Annual Plan with key stakeholders.
MARKET & COMPETITORS ANALYSIS
• Ensures discipline on programs evaluation through success metrics criteria (UVE) to allow learnings development and continuous Improvement on business performance.
• Provides holistic understanding through Gemba of drivers and detractors (6Ps) of the category, our brands and the key competitor brands.
• Gemba Focus. Explore and understand the Competitors strategy in this Key Customers.
STRATEGY
• Develops and align channel plans with customers strategy
• Leads preparation and delivery of range reviews where applicable
CATEGORY MANAGEMENT
• Responsible to provide thought leadership by clear articulation of category vision, holistic long-term category and shopper strategy that drive sustainable growth for
• A true team player, this person is responsible for evolving the customer relationships to realize growth at a category level through providing clear articulation of strategic insights underpinned by macro trend, category specific insights & shopper behaviours
CUSTOMER ENGAGEMENT
• Defines and Builds Engagement Plans to the Wholesalers and their sales team
• Coordinates the ad hoc trainings focus on Category, tendences, Brands and negotiation.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
• Administrative management of the processes intrinsic to his/her responsibilities.
• Demonstrate with professionalism the observable behaviours defined for your business role, complying with the company's standards for health, safety, security, data handling and protection, IT equipment and company policies and codes of ethics.
• Be an example of the corporate values, internally and externally, being responsible for their image in the market.
Qualifications
- +5 years work experience
- Minimum of +2 years in sales position in Indirect Channel (companies of recognized prestige and references in sales and the marketing area)
- +3 years in Trade Marketing Indirect Channel On Trade
- Experience building and growing brands, preferably in alcohol beverage category.
- Experience coordinating Plans to the sales team.
- Experience with Customers Plans
- Experience with agency management
- University Degree. Additional Master will be considered positively.
- Fluent in English and Spanish (Written & Spoken)
- Database knowledge (UVE, Nielsen, Sales Force)
- Advanced analytical capabilities (strong aptitude for statistics, mathematics or business analytics)
- Advanced Computer Literacy in Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint
- High availability to travel.
