Role Responsibilities

Demand Planning & Forecasting

  • Lead the end-to-end Demand Planning process across assigned channels / markets within the S&OP framework
  • Develop and maintain full-horizon forecasts for the product portfolio using statistical forecasting, market intelligence, and commercial inputs
  • Drive the consensus forecasting process by integrating bottom-up and top-down assumptions from Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain
  • Maintain forecast profiles, master data, and historical data cleansing activities to ensure forecast reliability
  • Conduct product segmentation analysis to optimize forecasting models and statistical algorithms
  • Monitor forecast performance and continuously improve Forecast Accuracy and Forecast Bias through root-cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Identify and communicate risks and opportunities impacting volume and value forecasts

S&OP / IBP Leadership

  • Facilitate Demand Clinic meetings and actively participate in monthly S&OP forums
  • Ensure strong alignment between demand and supply planning teams within the integrated business planning process
  • Promote the “One Number” principle across Commercial, Finance, and Supply Chain functions
  • Support the evolution of the S&OP process from a supply-chain-focused model to a fully integrated cross-functional IBP process
  • Partner closely with Finance to support long-term business planning

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as the primary interface between Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Service, Logistics, and Regional Supply Chain teams
  • Collaborate with Innovation and International S&OP teams to ensure consistency in planning processes, reporting, portfolio management, and inventory optimization
  • Ensure critical demand information and KPI reporting are accessible and actionable for relevant stakeholders
  • Support and back up other Demand Planners when required

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Develop and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and reporting tools to track forecasting and business performance
  • Leverage forecasting systems and planning tools (e.g., SAP IBP) to automate and enhance planning capabilities
  • Build cause-and-effect models to identify key drivers of forecast deviations and improve planning accuracy
  • Lead or contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within forecasting and S&OP processes

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
  • Minimum 3–6 years of relevant Demand Planning experience, preferably within FMCG
  • Experience working in cross-functional and international business environments
  • Knowledge of statistical and assumption-based forecasting methodologies

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of SAP and forecasting/planning tools (IBP preferred)
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Experience with KPI development, reporting, and data analysis
