The Key Account Manager (KAM) role is a strategic position within a company that is responsible for managing the relationship with the company's most important clients. The purpose of this role is to ensure the long-term success of these relationships by understanding the clients' needs and aligning them with the company's offerings.
Role Responsibilities
- Identify emerging trends in the off-channel market (i.e., sales channels that are not the company's primary focus, such as online sales for a traditionally brick-and-mortar retailer) and use this information to inform the company's strategy in these areas.
- Develop marketing plans and sales forecasts for the off-channel market, propose budgets, and advise management on the strategies needed to achieve sales targets.
- Plan and manage the sales effort in the off-channel market, assess detailed sales reports from off-channel managers, and report results to the head of sales.
- Monitor market trends in the off-channel market and advise management of changes in competition, product availability, or related matters.
- Collaborate with sales promotion, training, and market research staff to plan and execute special projects and programs.
- Ensure that off-channel sales activities comply with legal and ethical standards.
- Be responsible for the profit and loss (P/L) of the off-channel market, with a focus on maximizing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Drive Net Revenue Management (NRM), which involves strategic pricing decisions and trade investment optimization to increase profitability.
Qualifications

University Degree. Additional Master will be considered positively

+ Minimum 3-5 years of business experience with at least 3 years’ experience in off market.

Commercial awareness with previous experience in customer facing roles in an FMCG environment ideally the liquor, drink & CPG industry.

Nice to have: Fluent in English and Spanish (Written & Spoken)
