What makes this a great opportunity?

This role is the Americas Insights & Analytics team's lead for Latin America. It closes today's LATAM coverage gap and makes Mexico and Brazil full partners in the Americas insights agenda.

You will bring the consumer and shopper into every major LATAM commercial and brand decision. You will adapt Americas frameworks and global research protocols to local markets, and feed LATAM learning back into the regional picture.

The role shares the Americas team's core mandate: connect brand activation and innovation to validated consumer demand, and explain the "why" behind performance, not just the numbers.

Role Responsibilities

Business partnership (Mexico and Brazil)

  • Act as the insights partner to LATAM commercial, marketing and sales leaders; join market business reviews and planning cycles.
  • Turn consumer, shopper and market data into clear recommendations on brand, pricing, channel and portfolio choices.
  • Explain the "why" behind LATAM performance and consumption trends for monthly business reviews and Americas performance reporting.

Consumer and category understanding

  • Build a sharp view of the beverage consumer in Mexico and Brazil across FBS and RTD: occasions, need states, drinker segments and category drivers.
  • Track cultural, regulatory and competitive shifts that affect the portfolio, including local players and moderation trends.
  • Lead brand health tracking and communication testing for priority LATAM brands.

Innovation and activation

  • Apply the Americas stage-gate and testing approach to LATAM innovation, from opportunity identification to launch readiness.
  • Validate demand behind activation and innovation plans before investment, and measure in-market results after launch.

Data and analytics

  • Manage syndicated and retail data sources for the region (for example Nielsen, Kantar, NielsenIQ Brazil and on-premise data), ensuring consistent definitions with the Americas.
  • Integrate internal sales, shipment and marketing data with consumer data to size opportunities and diagnose performance.
  • Use AI and advanced analytics tools to speed up synthesis and reporting.

Research operations and budget

  • Own the LATAM research roadmap and budget, aligned with the Americas insights roadmap and annual budget cycle.
  • Select and manage research agencies in Mexico and Brazil; ensure quality, cost control and on-time delivery.
  • Deploy global and Americas research protocols locally so results compare across markets.

Qualifications

Required

  • 8+ years in consumer insights, market research or analytics, ideally in beverage, alcohol or CPG.
  • Hands-on experience covering Mexico and Brazil, or other multi-country LATAM work.
  • Strong command of qualitative and quantitative methods, brand tracking, innovation testing and syndicated data.
  • Proven record of turning data into business recommendations that changed decisions.
  • Experience managing research agencies and budgets across more than one country.
  • Fluent English and Spanish.

Preferred

  • Portuguese fluency.
  • Beverage alcohol experience across spirits and RTD, including understanding of responsible marketing rules.
  • Experience in a regional or global matrix, working with a manager in another country.
  • Comfort with analytics and AI tools (for example Python, R, Power BI or Tableau).
  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, statistics, psychology or a related field; advanced degree a plus.
