Role Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the Annual Operating Plan including achieving Volume, Revenue and Gross Profit targets.
  • Responsible for supporting the strategic thinking for and development of the On The Rocks marketing plans including management of the annual planning process.
  • Responsible for developing through-the-line, consumer centric programs across all retail channels and very targeted trade plans to address specific needs in top markets
  • Work closely with the Innovation Team to identify and successfully commercialize innovations that deliver against consumer needs and drive incrementality to the portfolio.
  • Work closely with cross functional teams (Customer Marketing, Finance, Consumer Insights, and Sales teams) to gain alignment on strategic priorities, ensure plans are actionable, and drive execution.
  • Responsible for understanding and evaluating the effectiveness of marketing activity.
  • Analyze key business metrics (depletions, distribution, velocity, Nielsen, pricing, profit, etc.). Tease out the recommendation and align cross-functional partners on next steps.

Qualifications

  • 4- 6 years marketing experience in Consumer Packaged Goods, Beer, Spirits and/or on a lifestyle brand; MBA preferred
  • Experience and in-depth knowledge of the US alcohol industry and the 3 tiered system dynamics strongly preferred.
  • Strategic thinker able to connect consumer insights, market considerations and business realities to think big and drive both a long-term agenda and activation plans that drive growth.
  • Culturally connected with a proven ability to deliver marketing activities that powerfully drive a brand in culture.
  • Track record of producing inspiring creative that connects consumers to brand purpose.
  • Demonstrated experience of working in a fast paced, dynamic category with a rapid and competitive consumer purchase cycle and a proven track record of succeeding against market conditions.
  • Exceptional leadership, creative problem solving, and decision-making skills and a remarkable ability to engage and influence stakeholders and cross functional partners.
  • A highly organized and excellent multi-tasker who holds themselves to a world class standard of output and demonstrates a relentless desire to deliver the best performing marketing programs.
  • Prior experience of working cross-functionally and with global brand resources an advantage.
  • Someone who likes to have a little fun, is the right amount of competitive, and recognizes that we win and lose as a team.
  • Strong communicator, active listening skills, ability to listen for feedback and validate and address concerns; and excellent influencing and presentation skills

 

The salary range for this role, based in New York is $135,000 to $150,000 along with an annual bonus, 401K match, profit sharing, and medical and wellness benefits. The salary range is commensurate with the candidate’s location, experience, and skillset.
