Serve as a trusted advisor and operational execution for Suntory Global Spirits Chief People, Culture & Communications Officer (CPCCO), driving executive governance rhythms, cross-functional program management, and strategic initiatives for the Suntory Global Spirits CPCCO and the People, Culture & Communications Leadership Team (PCCLT). This role is responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of executive leadership priorities, fostering collaboration across the organization, and stewarding sensitive and confidential information with utmost discretion and diplomacy.
• The incumbent will act autonomously, exercising independent judgment to evaluate situations, prioritize competing demands, and make decisions on matters of that have company-wide impact. This includes proactively identifying challenges, developing solutions, and implementing actions before escalating to the CPCCO or Senior Management.
• This role requires exceptional business acumen, global and cross-cultural awareness, and the ability to manage complex projects and relationships across a diverse and multi-cultural organization.
Role Responsibilities
Executive Governance
• Lead executive governance rhythms for the CPCCO, including preparing and managing materials for Board and Executive Leadership Team (ELT) meetings, decision logs, and follow-through on strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with the CPCCO and senior leaders to define priorities, drive initiatives, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Serve as a liaison between the CPCCO and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment on matters of significant impact on the organization.
Operational Oversight & Decision-Making
• Prioritize and manage the CPCCO’s agenda, including strategic scheduling, resource allocation, and time optimization. Exercise discretion in making commitments on behalf of the CPCCO within agreed parameters.
• Oversee travel policy compliance and vendor relationships, ensuring seamless travel arrangements for the CPCCO, including international travel, visa applications, and expense reporting.
• Own and manage the corporate calendar, ensuring alignment with key leadership activities and enterprise cadence.
Program Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Coordinate and execute ELT meetings and HR leadership gatherings, including planning logistics, setting agendas, managing budgets, and ensuring successful follow-through.
• Lead cross-functional projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and delivering measurable outcomes.
• Develop and implement processes and tools to enhance operational efficiency and governance, partnering with the CPCCO.
Executive Communications
• Draft and review high-level correspondence and communications for the CPCCO, ensuring clarity, confidentiality, and alignment with organizational goals.
• Prepare presentation materials using PowerPoint and other tools, ensuring professional and impactful delivery.
Strategic Support
• Act as the CPCCO’s representative and primary point of contact, managing complex and confidential communications with key stakeholders.
• Serve as a strategic backup to the Executive Assistant to the Chairman and CEO as needed.
Financial Management & Vendor Oversight
• Manage budgets and vendor contracts, ensuring compliance with policies and optimizing resource allocation.
• Approve vendor logistics and expenditures within established thresholds, negotiating terms when necessary.
Other Duties
• Perform some administrative support tasks, including expense reporting, purchase requisitions, and departmental filing, as incidental to primary responsibilities.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 10+ years of experience supporting C-suite executives, with demonstrated discretion and independent judgment.
• Proven experience in executive governance, program and project management, and vendor/budget management.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer-service orientation.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.
• Flexibility to travel occasionally to support executive and leadership meetings offsite or key events as needed.
Compensation
This role is based in New York City. Salary Range: $120k-$145k along with an annual bonus, 401K match, profit sharing, and medical and wellness benefits. The salary range is commensurate with the candidate’s location, experience, and skillset. The range will vary if outside of this location.
