Role Responsibilities

Role Overview
This role will support the global agenda on innovation for Suntory Global Spirits, acting as the catalyst for transformation and competitive advantage. Delivering future revenue growth, by providing consumer and customer centric solutions that can breakthrough and differentiate from the competition, propelling SGS in a rapidly changing landscape.


•    Be a change agent in shifting & transforming innovation approach & capabilities at SGS, to create fewer, bigger and better innovations
•    Project management of a wide range of key initiatives connected to innovation, ensuring key aspects are delivered within timelines and budget
•    Support the team in the identification of and creation of key platforms for innovation, synthesizing multiple data/sources and research to provide a framework that can be utilized by the organization as a whole. 
•    Assist with the integration of innovation process throughout business and help deliver key tools and training required, including providing key financial metrics and sizing guidance
•    Provide key support to internal portfolio reviews and the Seed to Sip Gate process. 
•    Manage the Innovation & Futures budget, to ensure spend is managed in line with budgets and projects are kept on track
•    Assist with management of key agencies, ensuring workplans are delivered to high standards, within KPIs

•    AGILITY- enable rapid iteration for new processes and improvements in our innovation systems
•    OUTSIDE FOCUSED - leverages external benchmarks to drive SGS improvements 
•    FUTURE FORWARD THINKER– requires you to be in-tune with market and consumer trends to be in a position to create and put in place strategic actions today that you know will be important for delivering commercial value in the future

Qualifications


•    4-6 years’ experience in marketing or innovation
•    Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field preferred
•    Broad skillset with good judgment and a mature, practical, strategic and commercial mindset
•    Curiosity for learning, with a consumer and customer centric approach
•    An entrepreneurial, self-starter who deals confidently with the unknown
•    Influences and collaborates across teams, multicultural environments, and the organization
•    Enterprise wide thinking and approach
•    Strong project management 
•    Experience with agency management

 

Salary Range - The salary range for this role based in New York is $120,000 to $135,000 along with an annual bonus, 401K match, profit sharing, and medical and wellness benefits. The salary range is commensurate with the candidate’s location, experience, and skillset. 


Travel
Up to 15% global travel
