Global Director, Brand Public Relations, Ready-to-Drink (RTD)

The Global Director, Brand Public Relations – Ready-to-Drink (RTD) is responsible for leading the global communications strategy for the company's Ready-to-Drink (RTD) portfolio, one of the organization's fastest-growing and most strategically important businesses. Reporting to the Global Senior Director of Brand Public Relations, this role develops the global earned media, influencer and brand communications strategy, establishes scalable communications platforms, and oversees execution across the U.S. and key international markets.

Leading one Brand PR Manager, the Global Director partners closely with the Global Head of Marketing, RTD and Vice President, U.S. Marketing, RTD, serving as the senior communications advisor to the business. The role works with key stakeholders in Global Marketing, Regional Marketing, Consumer Insights, Social, Paid Media, Corporate Communications and Commercial teams to deliver integrated communications programs that build brand equity, drive earned influence and support business growth.

Role Responsibilities

Global Communications Leadership

  • Develop and lead the global public relations strategy for the RTD portfolio aligned with business growth objectives.
  • Build global communications platforms that create earned relevance and can be activated across priority markets.
  • Establish brand messaging, storytelling frameworks and communications priorities for global campaigns and innovation launches.
  • Serve as the primary communications partner to the Global Head of Marketing, RTD and VP, U.S. Marketing, RTD, providing strategic counsel on brand positioning, reputation and consumer engagement.
  • Ensure consistent brand voice while enabling regional teams to localize campaigns for their markets.

Brand Campaigns & Product Innovation

  • Lead communications planning for global brand campaigns, product launches, partnerships and sponsorships.
  • Develop integrated earned media strategies that complement paid, owned and experiential marketing.
  • Create global PR toolkits, messaging and activation plans for regional markets.
  • Identify cultural moments and trends that position RTD brands at the center of consumer conversation.

Influencer & Creator Marketing

  • Own the global influencer communications strategy across the RTD portfolio.
  • Develop creator engagement frameworks and best practices for regional implementation.
  • Partner with Marketing and Social teams to integrate creators into brand campaigns and launch strategies.
  • Ensure influencer investments drive earned reach, brand credibility and measurable business impact.

Global Market Partnership

  • Provide strategic oversight to communications execution in the U.S. and regional markets.
  • Partner with regional communications teams to adapt global campaigns while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Share best practices and elevate successful local market programs globally.
  • Support priority market launches and major commercial initiatives.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, coach and develop one Brand PR Manager, fostering a high-performing, collaborative culture.
  • Set clear priorities, performance expectations and development plans.
  • Manage agency partners, budgets and external communications resources to maximize impact and efficiency.

Reputation Management

  • Partner with Corporate Communications and Legal on issues management and crisis preparedness.
  • Protect and enhance the reputation of the RTD portfolio through proactive communications planning.
  • Ensure communications comply with responsible marketing practices and alcohol industry regulations.

Measurement & Optimization

  • Define KPIs for earned media, influencer marketing and campaign effectiveness.
  • Analyze performance data and consumer insights to optimize future communications strategies.
  • Report communications impact to senior leadership and demonstrate contribution to business objectives.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or related field.
  • 10–12+ years of progressive experience in public relations, brand communications or integrated marketing communications.
  • Significant experience leading communications for Ready-to-Drink (RTD), beverage alcohol or consumer packaged goods brands.
  • Proven success developing and executing brand building global communications strategies across multiple markets.
  • Deep expertise in influencer marketing, creator partnerships and earned media strategy.
  • Experience managing high-performing teams and developing communications talent.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior marketing and business leaders.
  • Experience managing global PR agency partners and communications budgets.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as business needs require.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience within the beverage alcohol industry, particularly RTD, spirits or beer.
  • Experience supporting global marketing organizations and cross-functional leadership teams.
  • Knowledge of responsible marketing guidelines and alcohol industry regulations.
  • Experience building communications strategies that drive measurable business growth.

The salary range for this role is $170,000- $190,000 along with an annual bonus, 401K match, profit sharing, and medical and wellness benefits. The salary range is commensurate with the candidate’s location, experience, and skillset. The range will vary if outside of this location.
