Role Mission
Reporting to the Sr. Director of Global Brand Experience & Capability, this Capability Manager will play a key role in ensuring that Marketers at SGS around the world (~800) are deploying The Founders’ Way of brand building to build iconic brands and deliver on our mission to be the world’s most admired premium spirits company. This requires bringing in best in class thinking from outside and combining it with astute understanding of our DNA and internal WOW to develop processes and models that connect the dots and continue to simplify our Marketers daily work in a way that drives Global-local connectivity and upskilling. The role will provide the opportunity to set the global standard of what good looks like, build your own marketing skills while helping build those of SGS marketers across the world and interface with cross functional and global leaders. This role requires solid influencing and collaboration to work with key cross-functional and agency partners, a strong marketing foundation and demonstrated project management ability.

Outcomes/Success Criteria
Stewardship:
- Assess current teams, tools, and ways of working across the organizing (brand houses, regional marketing and cross-functional support) to understand variance against TFW of Brand Building, pockets of excellence that can be leveraged and other areas for the team to focus
 - Continuous improvement of learning content and examples from internal and external sources
 - Lead the development, codification and implementation of all Capability e-learning initiatives including The Founders’ Way of Brand Building for new joiners, XD BASICS and TFW of Prestige
 - Lead Annual Planning best practice, Process and WOW by reviewing plans for improvement, liaising with Market and Global teams to understand issues and drive continuous improvement year on year
 - Drive topics, agenda, content development and agency management of SPARK SESSIONS (X4 per year) and Marketing All-Hands meeting (X 8 per year)
 - Support Growth Planning and Creative transformation initiatives globally
 - Build relationships with and influence cross-functional teams like Insights, Digital, MBC, Innovation, etc.
 
Project Management:
- Develop the strategic road map and project plan to deliver on the capabilities vision set out by VP and Sr. Director
 - Oversee end-to-end development of e-learnings and mange the STIR capability website (content and experience)
 - Manage budget, timelines and scope of vendors and consultants for smooth and in budget execution across BEC team
 
Qualifications
- 6+ years brand or consumer marketing experience in Global or Market (ideal candidate has both)
 - Bachelor´s Degree required; MBA preferred
 - gency management experience required
 - Strong project management skills with demonstrated experience in working collaboratively across an organization, gaining credibility amongst peers, managers and agency and cross-functional partners
 - Ability to deal with ambiguity and provide independent thinking supported by fact-based rationale
 - Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, proven resilience, entrepreneurship, team player and continuous eagerness to learn
 - Sound written & verbal communication skills
 
Salary Range - The salary range for this role based in New York is $140,000 to $170,000 along with an annual bonus, 401K match, profit sharing, and medical and wellness benefits. The salary range is commensurate with the candidate’s location, experience, and skillset.
