Reporting to the Senior Brand Manager, the Assistant Brand Manager plays a central support role within the Marketing team, working specifically on the Scotch & Irish portfolio (Laphroaig, Bowmore, Connemara and Auchentoshan).
The objective of the role is to contribute to the development of brand performance by being involved in both strategic analytical activities and hands-on marketing activation initiatives, in close collaboration with internal teams and international Brand Houses.
· Internship Contract – Start Date: June/July 2026
· 6-month duration
Role Responsibilities
· Analyze brand performance using Nielsen and IWSR panels, and contribute to the monitoring of business performance.
· Prepare marketing reports and recommendations, and ensure effective internal communication, including regular exchanges with the Brand Houses in Glasgow.
· Support the launch of new products and limited editions by participating in 360° launch plans.
· Follow product development across R&D, packaging, content creation and drink strategy definition.
· Coordinate internal validations, including legal approvals and advertising regulations, and support press launches and activations.
· Play an active role in marketing activation, supporting the implementation of campaigns across media and PR (press relations).
· Contribute to the execution of events and brand activations during key brand moments, in close coordination with the Sales teams.
· Support the deployment of activations across grocery retail, on-trade, specialist retailers and e-commerce, and contribute to cross-brand marketing activations, such as trade shows.
· Participate in market monitoring and strategy activities by analyzing market trends in the spirits category and competitive dynamics.
· Conduct benchmark analyses of competitive campaigns and activations.
· Provide multi-brand support by contributing to internal events and delivering logistical and administrative support to the Marketing team.
Qualifications
· Bac +4/5 years, currently in M2 of a Business School or equivalent, with a strong interest in marketing and sales
· With your rigor and ability to manage priorities, you are keen to discover the commercial world of a dynamic and challenging sector
· Agile and flexible, you know how to interact with different stakeholders at the same time and can manage several projects simultaneously, with a certain level of complexity
· Creativity, Organization, adaptability, initiative and curiosity are key assets in your work, along with a strong team spirit mindset
· Results-oriented, you are keen to find solutions, provide appropriate answers and know how to convince
· Master Microsoft Pack Office (Excel, Powerpoint) and ideally SAP
· Fluent in French and English
· Brand Marketing experience is a plus
· data analysis skills, ideally with experience using Nielsen
